Week five - post three

No. 4 Pittsburgh takes down No. 1 UConn
No. 4 Pittsburgh beat top-ranked UConn 70-60 in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Pitt had never beat a No. 1-ranked team in school history until earlier this season when they upset No. 1UConn. Now, less than a month later they've done it again.

The teams expect to meet again in the Big East tournament, and UConn head coach Jim Calhoun says his team is ready to take on the Panthers.

"Do I think we can beat Pitt?" Calhoun said. "Yes, but we are 0-2 and I don't have any graphic evidence to support that."

Pitt and UConn are second and third in the Big East right now with a 15-3 record. Both teams are expected to get a high seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament.
