UConn, Louisville, Pitt and UNC claim No. 1 seeds in NCAA tournament
The NCAA has spoken. The brackets are out, and Louisville, UConn and Pitt,three Big East teams, have earned No. 1 seeds in the tournament bracket. North Carolina nabbed the other spot.
Oklahoma, Memphis, Duke and Michigan State round out the No. 2 seeds.
"If we're a 1, we're a 1; if we're a 2, we're a 2. We just want to play," said Memphis coach John Calipari before the bracket came out Sunday.
First round games begin on March 19 and continue to the 20.
