Louisville survives battle with Siena
No. 1 seed Louisville defeated No. 9-ranked Siena 79-72 in Dayton, Ohio, Sunday. For awhile, it seemed as though the Cardinals wouldn't hang on as the Saints took the lead in the second half.
The Cardinals are on a 12-game winning streak that the Saints threatened.
"Yeah, we thought we had them," said Siena guard Kenny Hasbrouck. "We were running them up and down. We kept up with them every time. But unfortunately, I guess a team that's good, there's a reason they're No. 1."
Louisville will take on Arizona in the Midwest Regional Friday in Indianapolis.
