Week three - post three

No. 2 Oklahoma falls to Texas; Griffin out with concussion
The Longhorns stunned the Sooners in Austin, Texas, Saturday 73-68.

The Sooners' Blake Griffin left the game early in the first half and didn't return after he suffered a concussion. He collided with Texas center (Griffin's MRI results were clear, but it is unknown whether he will return for Monday's game against Kansas.) With Griffin sitting on the bench for the remainder of the game, the Sooners were unable to hold on as Texas' A.J. Abrams put up 23 points. Abrams hit 16 in the last eight minutes of the game.

This is only the second loss for the Sooners this season, and it ends their 13-game winning streak.

"I feel like with Blake playing it would have been a different game and I feel like with him we would have won," said Oklahoma's freshman guard Willie Warren.

This loss might erase any chance for Oklahoma to finish the regular season with their first No. 1 ranking since 1990.
